As you may or may not know, my name is Melissa. I'm eighteen years old and have been doing makeup for two years now. I am a self taught aspiring makeup artist, who is looking to get her foot in the door! I started playing around with makeup when I was about thirteen and began to actually excel at it around the age of sixteen. I worked at a Lancome makeup counter for 8 months, and during that time I learned a lot of new application techniques, as well as being able to recognize face shapes and the preferences of clients. I have worked with young and more mature clients, doing anything from wedding to grad makeup. Just recently I have begun doing makeup on the side, starting with my school's graduation last year.
